We perform measurements of telecommunications networks and connections of categories 5, 6, 7. Thanks to having the most modern measuring equipment, we are able to inventory, test and evaluate the most demanding structural network installations. Personnel performing measurements have appropriate experience and have been trained by the equipment manufacturer in measurement methodology. The most important network parameters we determine are:
- connection map,
- characteristic impedance (characteristic wave),
- segment length,
- DC loop resistance,
- propagation delay,
- delay difference between individual pairs
- attenuation (ratio of output voltage to input voltage of signal transmitted in the conductor, expressed in decibels per unit length),
- return loss from both sides,
- NEXT, PSNEXT, ELFEXT, PSELFEXT – bidirectional,
- NEXT changes as a function of segment length,
- ACR, PSACR – bidirectional.
- TCL and ELTCTL parameter
We prepare measurement reports in both electronic and paper format. If damage or irregularities are detected in the measured installations, we can determine the cause and provide appropriate interpretation of results in the report, recommending suitable repair and maintenance procedures.
Constant and regular diagnostics of cabling, as well as quick detection of potential faults, constitutes an important element of an efficiently operating network environment. All emerging faults that have a crucial impact on LAN network performance, its stability, speed and quality of data transmission and connections, can be easily eliminated through regularly performed measurements of LAN cabling and accompanying infrastructure.
