Thermal Imaging Measurements

We perform thermal imaging measurements of electrical installations, LV and MV switchgears, electrical devices and motors, HVAC equipment and installations. We use thermal imaging cameras that meet the most rigorous global standards. Our measurement specialists have appropriate experience and have been trained by the equipment manufacturer in measurement methodology. During thermal imaging measurements, we perform:

  • Diagnostics of increased resistance for switchgears of all voltages, transformers, electrical cabinets, damaged fuses, HV lines, and all electrical connections,
  • Technical diagnostics based on temperature distribution analysis on the surface of equipment and facilities during their normal operation, such as:
    • transformers, generators, motors
    • distribution stations
    • transmission lines
    • technological lines
    • HVAC equipment

We prepare measurement reports in both electronic and paper format. If damage or irregularities are detected in the measured installations, we can determine the cause and provide appropriate interpretation of results in the report, recommending suitable repair and maintenance procedures.

The main advantage of using thermal imaging measurements is their non-invasive nature. There is no need to damage the examined object, as in the case of excavation methods, to locate damage or irregularities in installations or equipment. Production processes also don’t need to be interrupted.
